Re: Halloween Gaming Nite @ Outpost Oct 2007

The only report I can give.....

1.) Werewolves got caught in 4th round i think. I was one of them.
2.) Got killed by werewolf, because i claimed to have special powers on 2nd turn
    3.) Got lynched...on 3rd turn.

So i was mostly facepalming myself. Arghh [arghh]

Long live the emperor of man!

Thanks, but what about the other activities in the Halloween event? E.g. food, other games played, cosplay, who dressed as what, who bought the tee-shirts, the trick or treating, the pool games, the pole dancing, etc.

    Any pics?

    Greetings!

Outpost Commander here... otherwise known as Richard.

Big thank you to Jeff for hosting Werewolf during the party. Hope those in the game had a "bloody" lynching time!

Some photos from the night at the MySciFiFan forum link here, although the photographer mainly focused on cosplayers and some other activities:

Halloween is still on at the Outpost this week...

Bare your fangs to feast on Bloody Intestines serving at the Outpost on special promotion for Rm 9.90. If you're bewildered with what they taste like, think spicy chicken bolognaise with warped pasta noodles. In addition, the first 2 orders of Bloody Intestines each day will receive a Free Goodie bag. Plus taste some Ladies Fingers with every meal order.

Step into the creepy psycho's hideout exhibit in the Outpost function room. Tread carefully and leave things untouched otherwise the psycho might just add you to the exhibit! For those with equally twisted minds, the hideout is also available for horror-themed boardgames and terror video screenings. Outpost games themed for Halloween available for customers include Betrayal at House on the Hill, Dark Lore Horror Trivia Game, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Call 03-77100562 check availability and book the creepy psycho's hideout.

Need to redecorate for the Halloween season? Choose from a selection of themed merchandise with a 10% discount for this week only. Offering action figures (Resident Evil, Vampire D, etc.), comic books (30 Days of Night, etc.) and games (Living Dead Dolls).

Come Halloween Day itself on Wednesday 31st October, come celebrate in Cineleisure with the launch of the Haunted Tunnel (1st floor). Then come by the Outpost for feeding intestines and ladies fingers under dim candlelight and horror themed decor (lookout for the Gremlin!). Plus creepy videos screening in the Psycho's Chamber.

    jack208:

Other party guests make your way into the Outpost from 7.30pm for our 'Blardy' Buffet Dinner comprising:

    • Blood Drop Salad
    • Graveyard Platter
    • Head-hunter Skewers
    • Roast "Scare-crow"
    • Undead Lice... er, Rice
    • Infested Spaghetti
    • Pumpkin Brains
    • Ladies Fingers
    • Bloodwine

At least the food was gross enough, just wish it was more tasty.

Since there were no comments on other games, I conclude that Werewolf was the only non-quiz game that was played. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.

Nice pics, Richard. Looks like the cosplay gang was out in full force. The best costume is easily the TMNT one. Smile [:)]

Yes because everything else was too complicated to explain.
Werewolf was :Look at your card and point to someone and lynch.

I see. OK. If Bang! had a horror twist to it, something like Deadlands(anyone remember this?), it would have been played too, I guess.

Ah...that will be an improvement. Bring along the Simpsons Operation game to get genuine Homer expressions.
