    LoStBoYz:
Just bring our 18xx games lah. Everyone that posts here all know how to play. Furthermore newbies will take them like 6+ hours to play a game, that will remove the need to have many games in many sessions. 2 games of 18xx with newbies = 12+ hours. Just nice.

I post here and I don't know how to play 18xx....Stick out tongue [:P]

i think we should ask for someone to explain the rules of the game and then record it. that is very practical and not time consuming for newbies because if we ask newbies to read the rules then they might get confuse and lost. after the record is done, i suggest we put it in this forum and we compile all the recorded game rule so that the community of this forum can learn as many games as possible in a short time.

Re: 2007 Euro Games Retreat - yes it is happening!

Objective is to have this after Essen so that those who didn't get the chance to visit can get a first hand look at all the top new releases!

Tentative date is the 1st weekend of November - ie. 3rd & 4th. Schedule will be the same. Saturday: 9.00am - 6.00pm. Lunch + Dinner. Free time. Sunday: Breakfast. 9.00am - 1.00pm.

"Not a competition", but a chance to play as many games as possible!
    Saturday:
    9.00 - 10.00 (1 hour game).
    10.00 - 11.30 (1.5 hour game).
    11.30 - 12.30 (2 hour game).
    1.30 - 2.30 (1 hour game).
    2.30 - 4.00 (1.5 hour game).
    4.00 - 6.00 (2 hour game).

    Sunday:
    9.00 - 10.00 (1 hour game).
    10.00 - 11.30 (1.5 hour game).

Total of 8 games each! As last year, games will be graded according to tables. After each game, top 2 will get promoted and bottom 2 will get relegated. This ensures maxium player rotation and interaction.

If we fill 4 tables (16 pax), a total of 32 different games will be in play! We expect to fill 5 tables this year as we expect some Singaporeans to attend. That makes it 40 different games in play!

As a rule, all new games will be played - ie. none of the games played last year will be repeated.

    Countdown!!!
