    lol

if this site were to be alive in a year or two years time, i guess someone would reach 5000 posts...

are u thinking of expanding the site into a news site?

Yeah and you think it's easy to be a Legend? Wink [;)]

Do have plans to expand this into a news site but will definitely need someone to help provide the news update. The portal engine itself has the capability to deal with news and we're planning to add a newsfeed module too. But my thinking is that I would like to keep to boardgame news in Asia, and at this moment unfortunately it's not going to be many.

So a chicken-n-egg situation. I hope our boardgame evangelising will raise the number of gamers in this region and hence increase the noise level for boardgames related news.

Our niche should basically be to cover the Euro boardgaming scene in Asia.. starting with good ole Msia, and with your help Australia of course. :)

YS, is your gaming group in AUS open to public? Not general walk-ins but if a gamer wishes to drop in for a game, do you welcome that or it's a closed gaming group?

If it's open or semi-open, you can send details and some pics to me and I can put it up in the Where to Play section of this site under Australia.

    heya
i got a regular group of gamers in aus which is closed (non gamers who are open to anything)

and a not so regular one with 2 BGGers which is always open for walk-ins

and a rare one called Gamers@dockers which is always open to the public

i'll post more info abt them when my new study sem starts in feb

    :D

woa, there's so many categories in the forum
and only 3-5 people are msg-ing.

maybe cut the categories down and wait till we get more ppl on before adding extra categories?
