Extending last week’s ARTIPIA Meetup into our KICKSTARTER NITE #1 as we aim to get more kickstarter games onto the table. Which we did. GLORY TO ROME, ALIEN FRONTIERS, MARS NEED MECHANICS and GET BIT were showcased. And 18 other non-kickstarter games including two heavies in POWER GRID BRAZIL and 18TN TENNESSEE & KENTUCKY.
Friday’s Game Night at OTK and tonight’s no exception as we saw a variety of games hitting the tables LAST NIGHT ON EARTH, CARGO NOIR, SURVIVE, TOK TOK WOODMAN, POWER STRUGGLE, 1960 MAKING OF PRESIDENT, TIKI TOPPLE, F.I.T.S, CITADELS, and FRESCO. 18TN was the R1 game for the table of veterans with Hiew getting his first toe-dip into the 18xx series and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA resurfaced as the R2 game to close out another fantastic gaming night! And special thanks to all the gamers who helped us set up the tables & chairs earlier!! You guys are the BEST!
This was a mid-week meetup on a Tuesday mainly due to this being a public holiday here in M’sia. There was some buzz lately on 18xx and we decided to make today an “18xx Day” with all newcomers to the 18xx game system welcomed to come and try it out! Did we manage to have some new converts?
A last minute MERDEKA Meetup call managed to get about 15 gamers convering on SS15 again but this time at Old Taste Cafe with the main objective in getting some newcomers into the 18xx game system. Beside 18TN, a rare but very good game The Scepter of Zavandor and the popular Small World were also played.
