Follow us as OTK Cheras went thru half of RAHDO RUNS THROUGH’s Top Ten Heaviest Games list in our Friday OTK Boardgame Meetups. For tonight, the list of games to be covered were Agricola, In the Year of the Dragon, Brass, Zhanguo and Vinhos.
A shorter list than the previous “A” list, the popular games in this list have to be Bang, Battlestar Galactica, Bohnanza and my personal fave of the list BRASS. For those with poor memory, you might want to take a look at Busen Memo. Hehe.
A visiting Meetup organizer Nate from the Chicago Boardgames Meetup group prompted an impromptu meetup session at Old Town Pavilion where we also learned something about the Chicago Boardgame Designer scene.
2009’s Chinese New Year gaming starting off with Knizia’s SAMURAI followed by another delicious 6-player ACQUIRE. The evening – or rather morning as we finished at 7.30am the following morning – was capped off by AGRICOLA and BRASS.
