Our plans to revive our Secret Santa meet this year hit the unstoppable COVID-19 wave. So we can only use today’s Throwback Thursday to reminisce on a meeting of Secret Santas many moons back in the early days of Boardgamecafe.net.
Boardgamecafe.net is happy to bring you yet another competitive event; this time on the popular SETTLERS OF CATAN boardgame (arguably the first euro designer game that started the current trend of euro-gaming). Competition format will be similar to our POWER GRID tournament held earlier this year, and this time we’ll be hosting the Catan Finals at upcoming MAGACON event, is Malaysia’s first annual independent analog and digital gaming convention.
This week we return to arguably the first boardgame café in Msia – MAGE CAFE in Damansara Jaya – as we seek to find out who shall be our 9th and 10th Finalists. Two rounds were played – Germany first, then China – read on to find out what Ribena Lychee has to do with Power Grid. 🙂
