We are already in September, and this is when traditionally we start to count down towards our annual Essen Spiel pilgrimage. This year, Spiel24 is being held almost at the start of October (3/10) so that left us with just about 3 weeks before we embark on another 4-day whirlwind tour of games, games and games. It’s our 11th time attending yet we are still as excited as though this is our first. That’s the magic of Spiel!

With a record sell out of exhibitors space for the very first time in Spiel’s history, anticipation is understandably HIGH! Last year they did over 60,000 sq meter of event space. This year, they are occupying 68,528 sq meter which is literally the entire Messe hall. Yup, all six exhibition halls.

Hmm.. side question, where are we doing the Math Trade this year?

So, as alluded by my buddy Chok Sien, let’s get ready for SPIEL!
