A LIGHT EVENING OF GAMES

This was the week I was away on a biz trip to Oslo therefore we did not call a meetup for the R2 regulars. Instead we have an evening of light boardgaming sessions with some regulars and some not-so-regular gamers. Nice to see some fresh faces in our meetup sessrep. 🙂

HEY THAT’S MY FISH!

Dinesh & frens who hail from Seremban/Kajang are our regular customers but you do not see them often at OTK. Well they do drop by, say Hi and to pick up some games but seldom stay back for gaming. It was good to finally see pictures of him gaming at OTK! 🙂

We also have another OTK gamer who’s been “missing” from our sessions for a while, John Wong. Alas he happened to be back for gaming on a Friday when I was away. 😛

10 DAYS IN ASIA

Meanwhile Caleb’s group was also present and they did a game of 10 Days in Asia. Probably not their usual cup of tea but ah well, as long they enjoyed the game, that’s all that matters. J

This group later did Hey That’s My Fish too.

BGC Meetup - Samurai

SAMURAI

With waiyan organizing this meetup, I was not surprised to see her fave Samurai getting some table-time. Samurai is one of Knizia’s finest and it has many admirers in the OTK crowd.

This game scales well from 2-4 players, and is good with couple (as 2-player game). One of the few 2-player games that comes highly recommended by us.
