Two Catan Qualifiers this week; first was SS15 MEEPLES (read sessrep) and the second was at Taman Tun Dr Ismail’s fun centre FND Mindspot. Check out who’s the finalist from TTDI.
The Catan Tour continues from Bangsar & Cheras to SS15 this time as we head to the popular MEEPLES Boardgamecafe as they host the 3rd Qualifier. No popcorn bribe nor world peace here but you get a bunch of boisterous group of Cataners – sixteen of them in fact – competing for the two places in the MAGACON Finals.
After the Boardgame Depot Qualifier last week, the action moves to Cheras at the legendary OTK Cheras boardgame meetup venue which is the “home” of Boardgamecafe.net. As usual, things happen here in OTK on Friday nite and to reward those who dare to brave the traffic jam to get to OTK, we’ve on display five different editions of Settlers of Catan! And what does Catan have to do with World Peace? Read on… King Philip is Fair. 😛
The first of our Settlers of Catan Qualifier concluded last Saturday at Boardgame Depot. Find out who are our first two Finalists to enter the CATAN FINAL this Dec 17. TIP: It’s all about the popcorn, and not the sheeps. 😛

Excellent approach towards introducing the bigger world of board games to newcomers. Proprietors are very friendly and down-to-earth, and the board gaming crowd are usually friendly and helpful as well. Competitive prices and wide range of availability makes this an easy choice as a place to shop.
