With two Finalists in the bag, we now move to Subang Jaya where the crocodiles were supposed to meet the sharks. The 1st POWER GRID Tournament in M’sia kicked off last Sunday with the 1st Qualifier held at the newly opened Boardgame Depot, the latest boardgame café in Bangsar! Find out who among the 12 shall be our first two Finishers for the FINAL Day.
With the Power Grid Tournament a week away, you can bet to see Power Grid in play with Hansa Teutonica also make a reappearance. We have two tables for R2 with Le Havre & Vinhos, an economic game about the Portuguese wine trading business. OTK also has the distinction of hosting three gamers from Europe for our R2; a Spanish, an Italian and a Hungarian!

Our first meetup post-Chinese New Year saw ZOMBIES in-play (hmm… not superstitious ka?) and the popular – and some said the BEST – 2010 game DOMINANT SPECIES getting intro-ed to the OTK group by Emil. Other games in play were Alhambra, Kaigan, Carson City and Glen More. Another Friday and another 7am meetup!
The Rabbit was late for our Feb 2011 arrivals but nevertheless here they are, the New Arrivals and Restock for our Feb 2011 batch. The good news is that March promises even more goodies!!
