A night of light-medium & fun games with RA, 7 Wonders, Infinite City, Pick-a-Dog and King of Tokyo getting around the tables. We also have a group’s first play of ELDRITCH HORROR, a revisit to the First City of Catan in ELASUND and we ended with an old fave of economic-magic of SCEPTER OF ZAVANDOR.

We are back with our traditional year-end Black Friday Sale! While the actual Black Friday in the US was on the 29th November, we were busy preparing for our BGC Retreat at Kin Tick. So we chose to do our Black Friday Sale on a different period and given today’s Friday the 13th, it’s the best day to announce our Black Friday Sale! J
Taking opportunity of a public holiday, we set up stall to test out how good PATCHISTORY plays. Patchistory is the latest Civ game from Korea which sold out in Essen within 30-45 min. Find out if it’s as good as the hype. We also saw RIALTO on the table tonight.

ESSEN SPIEL 2012. The boardgame exhibition that pauses every gamer’s October calendar. Boardgamecafe.net was there for our first time last year (2012). Find out what did we do on the Day Before the event as we arrived in Essen via Berlin.
We took the downtime (stock arrivals) to test out a few newer games but also some older faves like HANSA TEUTONICA and TICKET TO RIDE. KEMET, LE PETIT PRINCE and ROBINSON CRUSOE also saw some actions. Find out what’s the buzz about Robinson Crusoe.
Kudos to CK and gang who worked hard at creating board-gaming awareness. OTK is a great place to host such events and I will definitely be one of the main supporters. As usual, whenever there are games that needs reviewing, I would be happy to contribute.
